But, because people handle stress differently, symptoms of stress can vary. Symptoms can be vague and may be the same as those caused by medical conditions.”
📌 When was the last time you felt GREAT? Can you even remember? If not, why not? Take a moment to think about what stresses you out.
Some individuals are so stressed out, that although they consistently feel stressed and overwhelmed, they cannot pinpoint what actually causes their stress. Not knowing where to get started, is initially the biggest problem. Where and how to make little or big changes in their lifestyle appears to be stressful in itself. .
However, it is important to make sure that we don’t work such a tight schedule that we feel exhausted and even burn out. In my opinion it’s a matter of putting enough planning and structure in place, to set you up for success, rather than waiting to fail over and over again. .
📌 Many daily stressors are avoidable, for example feeling stressed from sitting in traffic.
Could you, for example, leave your home/office a little earlier or later, to avoid the usual traffic chaos?
You may find that a difference of just 15 minutes, can make a huge difference to your journey.
Or while you sit in traffic, instead of feeling stressed, could you use the time to listen to an audio book or podcast you enjoy? .
