Are you going to continue making excuses this september....? Do you want to have a structure and a plan in place this time to suit your goals and not the coaches?
Heres just 3 tips that will help you from making excuses and getting distracted by all the shinny objects in todays industry.
1. DO FOR YOU! - To many people these days try to follow the crowd and do something they know they wont stick at long term, Most notably a Fad or restricted diet. Find your niche and do that well, if its crossfit/bodybuilding/walking or swimming etc, Do what you enjoy doing and can see yourself doing long term.
2. SET A GOAL! - In my eyes if you don't set a goal it's almost the one reason people fail to get results. Set short & Long term goals, if it's to lose weight before your wedding or to look good on holidays. Now with this we must set realistlc goals, for example to have a Six Pack in a week.......NOT GOING TO HAPPEN or to lose 10 stone in a matter of weeks NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.....Set a goal and trust the process!. 3. HIRE A COACH/MENTOR! - This for me is very important, especially if you have been training for years and have no direction of were you have came from or were you want to go next. Having someone track your progress, Structure your workouts and hold you accountable for your efforts, push you in the right path to achieve your results & cares about you, who puts you first and not the other way round. I myself have hired a Business Mentor who holds me accoutnable for my work and keeps me on the straight and narrow with business. I also have a coach who programmes my training for me, this is to allow me to be more accountable and free up my time so I can spend more time training & programming for my members.
